'Established in 2018 by two sisters, Anne and Teresa Behan, Aine is a young business that prides itself on promoting the work of some of Ireland’s most exciting designer-makers.

Trading both online and from a brick-and-mortar shop in the picturesque Killaloe, an emphasis is placed on original design, craftsmanship and heritage. Anne is an award-winning knitwear designer with a studio in Killaloe.

Her designs sell worldwide under the labels Aine and McConnell. Teresa has spent the last 20 years in retail both in Ireland and Australia. The shop is a beautiful space nestled on the shores of the lake.

It showcases their passion for the handmade, and an appreciation for Irish heritage crafts through established and emerging makers'.
