About Bastible

Barry Fitzgerald's Bastible restaurant received its first Michelin star in the 2022 guide and not before time.  Opened in 2015 by Barry (whose CV includes head-chef at one-starred Harwood Arms in London) and his wife Claire-Marie Thomas, Bastible has been impressing food critics ever since with its set menus of 'simple, good food' made using the best seasonal produce.

From Bastible Website:

'Bastible is a neighbourhood restaurant in the vibrant suburb of Portobello in Dublin 8.

Our team serve a set menu based around the best Irish produce available to us at the time. Once given advanced notice we can cater for most dietary requirements you may have. Vegetarian menus are always available upon request. Our drinks list is concise but features some amazing wines from some of the world's most interesting wine makers.

Reservations are encouraged and we do our utmost to accommodate walk-ins. We look forward to welcoming you to Bastible soon.'
