Durhamstown Castle is a 14th century castle available to hire for celebrations and weddings.  With 7 bedrooms in the main building and further space in two adjoining cottages, a total of 30 guests can be accommodated in characterful surroundings.  The 18th century stone barn is ideal for dining and dancing whilst the bar, lovely gardens and play area for children mean that everyone can be entertained regardless of who's in your group.

Located in Bohermeen, County Meath, Durhamstown Castle is approximately one hour from Dublin city centre.

'Durhamstown Castle is the ideal venue for your celebrations. On arrival you will be welcomed into the charming atmosphere of our family home. We undertake all the arrangements during your stay and take huge pride in our hosting and our house with twenty acres to play outside

The interconnecting rooms are perfect for celebrations of all kinds; some guests can play music without disturbing those wanting a family catch up over a good glass of wine in the dining room. While the well equipped kitchens can allow Aunty Gladys to finally show of her cullinary skills.

Hen parties, family gatherings and small weddings of up to 30, can dine in the castle; larger groups are
entertained in the Great Barn'.

'There are 7 bedrooms; 6 double beds and 5 single beds in the Castle plus cots. There is a sofa bed which can be set up in the Music room downstairs. There are four bathrooms and two separate loos, we also have a disabled toilet and shower on the ground floor.

We have two other houses in the Courtyard that can be rented for your guests. The Coach House and the Bolt hole both sleep 5-6 people each. They have kitchens and Bathrooms etc.

In all we can accommodate up to 30 guests for your big occasion'.
