Galgorm Collection, Northern Ireland's leading luxury hospitality group, has announced a landmark £50 million investment in the region’s tourism and hospitality sector with the acquisition of two prestigious properties: Galgorm Castle Estate in Ballymena and Roe Park Resort in Limavady. This investment, which includes both acquisition costs and a comprehensive enhancement plan, signifies a substantial boost to the luxury hospitality offerings in Northern Ireland, reflecting confidence in the region’s growth potential as a world-class destination.

The acquisitions, totaling £28 million, encompass the historic Galgorm Castle Estate and the four-star Roe Park Resort & Spa. Known for its premier properties such as The Rabbit Hotel and Retreat, The Old Inn, and the flagship Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort, Galgorm Collection’s latest expansion further cements its reputation as Northern Ireland's foremost luxury hospitality provider. In addition to the acquisitions, Galgorm Collection has committed an additional £22 million over the next five years to elevate the standards of both estates, enhancing their appeal on a local, national, and international level.

This transformative investment is poised to create exceptional luxury experiences across both locations. Roe Park Resort will undergo significant updates, including a bespoke adults-only spa for ultimate relaxation, alongside enhancements to its renowned golf course and new family-friendly amenities. These developments will position Roe Park as an essential destination for families, golf lovers, and those seeking a luxurious getaway in an idyllic countryside setting.

At Galgorm Castle Estate, the investment will focus on elevating its already acclaimed golf course, with plans to develop it into Ireland’s premier parkland course. These enhancements aim to attract global attention, placing the estate firmly on the map for world-class golfing. Further details of this ambitious project will be released soon, solidifying Galgorm Collection’s commitment to setting new standards of luxury and excellence in Northern Ireland’s hospitality sector.
