About Mondello Park and Formula Race Thrill

Mondello Park is the home of Irish motorsport. Their 'Formula Race Thrill' experience is a unique opportunity to learn about, and then drive, a Formula 1-style, single-seat racing car.

The museum at Mondello Park houses the Martin Birrane Collection, 'a treasure trove of beautiful, historic racing cars, the result of a lifetime of collecting by former Mondello Park owner and racing enthusiast Martin Birrane.'

In addition to the Formula Race Thrill experience, other driving experiences are available including a 'Drift Thrill', 'Rally Driving Thrill' and 'Ferrari Driving Thrill'.

The Formula Race Thrill is the closest you will ever get to emulating your Formula 1 heroes.

After a classroom briefing and training laps in a Saloon Racing Car, you will get to drive a Formula styled Single Seater Racing Car.

The sensation of driving a Single Seater Racing Car just inches off the ground is unlike any other driving experience.

Nothing our instructors say will prepare you for the rush of adrenaline experienced through sitting into a car similar to those of your Formula 1 heroes and getting to drive it around the famous Mondello Park track'.
