Set on a 1,000 acre estate in County Sligo, Temple House is an imposing Georgian mansion owned by the same family for over 300 years. Available to rent in its entirety on a B&B basis (fully catered options also available), the main house can accommodate 20 guests in 10 bedrooms however for larger groups there is the option of booking a separate cottage on the estate to sleep another 8 guests.

With its grand sweeping staircase, Temple House's 'vestibule' would more than suffice as a space for entertaining your friends or family however there is also a choice of impressive reception rooms to use depending on whether you want to host a formal dinner or a more relaxed drinks party.

Whether for an anniversary, birthday party, corporate retreat or family get together, Temple House and its sprawling estate will charm your guests and ensure a memorable stay is had by all.

Take the entire house for a private House Party. Come with a bunch of friends or family. You set the pace and enjoy it. Children are welcome.

We do all the catering. You choose the wine from our list and use the honesty bar honestly.

The country house atmosphere is one that lends itself perfectly to gatherings that require privacy and special treatment. With 1,200 acres of gardens, farm, lake and parkland at your disposal, as well as the house itself, there is a wealth of space in which to relax, play or work. No event is too big or too small.

There are not many places in the country where just 6-7 rooms nets you such a wonderful venue. The big house rental sleeps 14-20 or so. Sometimes we might add an extra bed to squeeze another friend in. If there is a serious over spill, there is also a cottage on the estate that sleeps 8.

There are so many things to do in county Sligo you might consider 2-7 nights. Activities include golf, walking, boating, spas, Eagles Flying, SUP, Yeats, ‘nothing’ but lounge around the estate or open fire'.
