Westport Estate to Develop New Luxury Hotel

Westport Estate, one of County Mayo's most impressive country estates, has unveiled ambitious plans to develop a new luxury hotel.  Following on from the estate's May '24 launch of Westport Adventure – itself a significant investment in a sizeable outdoor activity centre – this latest announcement is a key part of the directors' plans to 'transform the area into a premier tourist destination that offers a seamless blend of history, nature, and luxury'.

Already a popular stopping off point for locals and tourists alike, the Westport Estate will be replacing Hotel Westport with The Grace, with the goal of providing 'an unparalleled hospitality experience that harmonises the rugged beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way with the utmost in luxury'.  Guests will be able to 'look forward to a range of immersive experiences that nourish the mind, body, and soul, offering them a chance to reconnect with what matters most. Whether it’s through serene natural settings, exquisite dining, or rejuvenating wellness programmes, The Grace will be a place where every moment is crafted with care and attention'.

Architects Taylor McCarney will be leading the design of The Grace with Stewart Construction commencing work immediately on site
