The founder of luxury chocolatier Grá Chocolates, former pastry chef Gráinne Mullins, has made it on to the 2023 Forbes '30 Under 30' List – which acknowledges exceptional young talent across a range of industry categories including, in Gráinne's case, the Arts & Culture vertical.
Having already been named the prestigious Eurotoques Young Chef of the Year 2019 whilst working at Michelin-starred restaurant Lignum in Galway, Gráinne is no stranger to winning industry accolades. Forbes' recognition of her meteoric rise to the top of the luxury confectionary market in Europe is however likely to be a welcome boost for her young company which, with a presence in luxury retailer Brown Thomas and luxury hotel group Leading Hotels of the World, is already experiencing impressive success.
Forbes' summary of Gráinne's story so far;
“Gráinne Mullins was already an award-winning pastry chef when she launched Grá Chocolates from her parents' shed in 2020. The chocolate business, which features local Irish ingredients and hand-painted designs, has since won her six more awards and stockists including Brown Thomas and members of the Leading Hotels of the World group. Revenue last year was $1 million”.
